So it’s the middle of the night, I can’t sleep,  the tv died, everything  hurts too much to read.  Wrapped all my pennnies.  Unwrapped a leftover burrito supreme and ate it–cold.  Which gave me a stomach ache.  Definitely no sleep tonight after that.

What to do?  I know.  I’ll take one photo each of of Katherine Waterston, Taylor Swift and Eliza Dushku and make a stupid picture that signifies nothing.  Here it is.

Now what am I going to do?  Ah, coffee.

That’s kind of awesome, Your Majesty — I don’t know why, but it is. Somehow or other, you turn the pain into art. That’s always impressed me.

Sometimes art inspires me without telling me how. For instance, I love Juliet Landau’s performance in this video, but I do not quite understand it.

Pointy, when I see Juliet sing, I see her sing with her body & hands that moves very similar to Drusilla. And I always loved that so much grace & life could be contained in a dead vessel (vampire). It turns out that those traits were Juliet’s all along.

jaynelovesvera, while I don’t know who the first two people are, I love the empty room in your art (& Eliza though the window). That said, I think I loved the colors overall. Kudos.

Juliet’s fluidity of motion has always fascinated me.

Thanks for the kind comments about the pic. The color scheme is always the first thing I work on after the initial concept hits me.

Katherine Waterston is an excellent actress and daughter of Sam Waterston from Law and Order fame. She once remarked she was the only working actress in New York who couldn’t land a guest spot on Law and Order. She’s terrific as the lead in an otherwise dismal film called The Babysitters, and the only reason I watched till the end.

Taylor Swift is a teenage country singer I know little about. The pose struck me.
